Cyndi Michael, a former medical marijuana grower, holds the last syringes of cannabis tincture she will process for sale in Rickreall, Ore., after deciding to no longer grow medical marijuana. The number of medical marijuana growers participating in Oregon’s 20-year-old medical cannabis program has plummeted after the state legalized cannabis for all adults. Michael, who once grew for eight patients, could no longer make ends meet and also lost her business selling supplies to other medical marijuana growers.
