Camp Zanika Fall Clean Up

The Annual Make a Difference Day clean up for Camp Zanika Lache is Saturday, October 28, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We are in need of volunteers that can help us put away summer program areas and get ready for winter. Anybody can join the effort! No previous experience is required. Children are always welcome and encouraged to come, as the scenic Lake Wenatchee provides a wonderful opportunity for outdoor fun and education. Volunteers skilled in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical are also encouraged to join. We have lots to do, such as take down the archery range, the waterfront, clean the Kiwanis lodge, clean the kitchen, help prepare lunch, chop up firewood, gather debris, burn debris, rake leaves, repair the Kiwanis lodge roof and have fun at the same time.
Bring your gloves, rakes, chainsaws, loppers, and anything you think will come in handy!
Lunch will be provided!
Volunteering at Camp Zanika is important because it allows us to keep our registration fees down and at the same time offer camp scholarships, or camperships, to kids that would not otherwise be able to afford to come and enjoy all that camp has to offer.
Lodging is available for anyone who would like to come up and spend the night on Friday night or stay Saturday night.
