Latah Farmers Market
October 16 @ 9:00 am - December 5 @ 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Tuesday and Saturday, repeating until October 16, 2021
Since its grand opening in June, 2021, the Latah Farmers Market has attracted thousands of visitors who have enjoyed the relaxed, home-grown atmosphere of the new market. As the regional produce begins to ripen, shoppers will have access to an increasingly diverse selection of farm fresh products including berries, plums, apples, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, beets, garlic, potatoes, greens, and flowers.
Other local products featured at the Latah Farmers Market include bison meat, pastured pork, local beef, eggs, herbs, flowers, jam, handcrafted soaps and balms, home décor and art, handmade baby clothes, and candles.
The Battleground Food Truck serves breakfast and lunch every Saturday, featuring a new menu each month made with locally-grown ingredients, and hot and cold coffee and espresso drinks made with locally roasted coffee beans are available weekly at Cabin Coffee Roastery’s booth. Several vendors offer a variety of homemade and specialty confections including fudge, toffee, croissants, cookies, freshly baked bread, French macarons, frozen bananas, muffins, pound cakes, and chocolate truffles.
The market also features musical performances from local artists and fun booths for the kids. All of the vendors live in Latah County and many are also local youth entrepreneurs. A growing list of vendors can be found on the Farmers Market website at www.latahfarmersmarket.com and on social media. The Latah Farmers Market is accepting new vendors and performers of all ages throughout the market season.
