A special screening of landmark LGBTQ documentary PARIS IS BURNING sponsored by University of Idaho LGBTQA Office and WSU GPSA. A chronicle of New York’s drag scene in the 1980s, focusing on balls, voguing and the ambitions and dreams of those who gave the era its warmth and vitality. PARIS IS BURNING dives into ’80s transgender subculture, with the understated camera allowing this world to flourish and the people to speak (and dance) for themselves.
