Reception for the “Madame” series by Gary Word

A reception for Gary Word and his newest series of paintings entitled the “Madame” series will be held on Sat Feb 12. His newest creations are a result of the pandemic causing him to rethink his artistic vision. He had spent twenty years working in glass, with pieces ranging from wall sculptures to the design and production of fully playable glass guitars and string instruments.
The “Madame” exhibit is the result of six month’s intense exploration and the subsequent return to the canvas in an unique series combining cubism with the works of da Vinci.
Exhibit will run until Feb 26, 2022. Gallery open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm, and First Thursdays from 5 pm to 8 pm. Lynn Hanson gallery is a contemporary art gallery in the heart of Pioneer Square, Seattle – a space full of experiences.
