It’s amazing what you can do with a little bit of string, patience, and a lot of skill. String art card maker Lois Hemphill creates textured images on card stock with multi-colored thread and added embellishments such as crochet, glitter, or ink stampings. The resulting greeting cards are texturally and visually pleasing, with plenty of room on the inside to write a note. Through April 19, Wenaha Gallery is showcasing Hemphill’s string art creations, many of which are spring-themed, and invites you to Spring into String!
