Tell Your Story: The Power of Personal Essay

FreeA FREE, VIRTUAL EVENT, presented in association with Humanities Washington, Award-winning journalist, essayist, and teacher Kristen Millares Young leads this interactive, generative workshop which will help participants tell their stories through personal essays.
The session will focus on place-based writing and personal connections to this unique region that we call home. This personal essay workshop features a short reading to inspire group discussion, followed by timed prompts to guide individual writing sessions. Registration required.
