V-J Day Commemoration

The Sacajawea Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution are sponsoring a V-J Day event. Come help us honor the men and women of WWII and the sacrifices of all veterans. Local mayors will be introduced and say a few words. Our keynote speaker is from JBLM, and our own DAR member and Tumwater councilwoman: Debbie Sullivan will briefly talk on Women in WWII before we honor our living Sacajawea Chapter WWII veterans: Barbara Nichols and Ellen Kjesbu, and other veterans in attendance.
