South-central Washington is rich in birds of prey, with 18 species occurring regularly and several more as rare visitors. An astonishing 15 species of owls are also present in Washington. The Yakima Area Arboretum and Yakima Valley Audubon will present a class on these interesting birds. This is a two-part class.
