PULLMAN - This year for the annual concert Springfest, the WSU Student Entertainment board welcomes T-Pain and 3OH!3 along with multiple local openers to Bealey Coliseum. One of those openers in a rapper who goes by Faddy Datty.
Evan Parks works as a Produce Manager at Safeway by day and turns into Faddy Datty, a rhyme spitting guru, by night.
Faddy Datty released three "Datty Packs" on Spotify and Apple Music. Each pack features two songs.
"Two just felt like the perfect number to begin with you know?" said Parks.
He also released three singles featuring local singer "Ananamiss."
In Parks most recent Datty Pack release, he went out to prove that music is what he should do with his life despite what some may say.
"Low key there's one person that didn't hit me up. Hit one of my homies up indirectly and was like: 'yo I don't think music is it for Evan. Like I don't think that's it for him,' and I thought that's hilarious like I laughed at that. I was like Oh really?" said Parks.
Parks takes the stage at 6:55 to play some of self-proclaimed laid back music.
Tickets can be bought at the door. 35 dollars for students and 45 dollars for the general public. Murrow News 8's own director James Salley AKA Salleymane takes the stage at 6:00 when the gates open.
