20th Annual Paddling Film Festival Comes to Mount Vernon’s Lincoln Theatre

Adventure lovers and film enthusiasts are invited to experience the 20th Annual Paddling Film Festival at the historic Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon on Sunday, October 12 at 3:00 PM.

The Paddling Film Festival is an international showcase of the world’s best paddling films, from adrenaline-pumping whitewater expeditions to soulful sea kayaking journeys and stories of conservation. The event highlights the spirit of adventure, exploration, and connection to water.

“This festival is more than just incredible films—it’s about celebrating community, inspiring adventure, and reminding us of the deep connection we share with our rivers, lakes, and oceans,” said Tori Dawson, organizer and owner of Dragonfly Kayak Tours.

The Mount Vernon screening is part of a global tour reaching over 120 cities, inspiring thousands of paddlers and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. Proceeds from the event will support local paddling programs and youth outdoor initiatives including the Happy Orcas Adventure Camp Scholarship Fund.
