🎯 Event Goals
1. Raise visibility for firearm injury prevention education
2. Commemorate victims of gun violence through daffodil planting
3. Empower students to advocate for knowledge and safety
4. Build community support across educators, physicians, advocates, and families

📋 Event Structure
1. Opening Gathering & Speeches (10:00 – 10:30 AM)
Location: Green Lake Park — east side of the Community Center, across from Starbucks
Activities:
• Welcome and introduction
• Featured speeches from:
o Student leaders
o Educators
o Healthcare professionals
o Leaders of the new organization
o Ceasefire Northwest
o Elected officials

2. March Around Green Lake (10:30- 11:30 AM )
Route: Full or partial loop around Green Lake (approximately 2.8 miles)
Theme: “Students Deserve to Know”
Features:
• Participants carrying signs and banners
• Informational stops along the route with student-led facts and messages on prevention

3. Daffodil Planting (Concurrent: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
Location: Designated daffodil planting site
Activities:
• Daffodil bulbs provided at the planting area
• Planting in memory of lives lost to firearm violence
