Valley Theatre Company Presents Murder on the Orient Express
Valley Theatre Company presents Agatha Christie’s thrilling whodunit, Murder on the Orient Express adapted by Ken Ludwig and Directed by David Connolly. Performances run January 30 through February 14, 2026 A, at the I.O.O.F. (Oddfellows) Ballroom in Ellensburg.
Regarded as one of Christie's most famous works, the story follows the brilliant Belgian detective Hercule Poirot as he boards the luxurious Orient Express. There, Poirot meets a host of peculiar characters: an aging Russian princess, her Swedish companion, a Hungarian countess, an American housewife, a Scottish colonel, an English governess, a French conductor, a disagreeable American businessman, and his anxious secretary. Over 48 hours, he investigates a mysterious murder, surrounded by conflicting clues and convoluted alibis.
“A mixture of style and suspense, Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is a pillar of the murder mystery drama” says director David Connolly.
Tickets can be purchased at https://valleytheatreco.org/2026-orient-express and are $22 for seniors and students and $25 for adults. Evening performances begin at 7:00 p.m., with matinees at 2:00 p.m. To help make theatre more accessible, VTC will offer a discount ticket night on Thursday, February 12th.
