WSU Team Selected to Compete in a Televised Competition

PULLMAN, WASH. – Washington State University’s very own Crimson Robotics has been chosen to participate on the television show, Battlebots. WSU is one of 80 teams chosen worldwide.

Senior Daniel Goto is a fan of the show, which is in its tenth season and is featured on Discovery channel and the Science channel. Goto began his effort to get the team on the show in 2018.

In order to compete on the show, the team developed two prototype robots and presented the robots marketability. They then had to show their ability to build what they had planned.

According to a YouTube video from Crimson Robotics, they will start competing in Early April.
