Welcome the America250 food delivery. Unload food from the truck. Sort and organize food onto pallets. Assist local food bank representatives with loading and distribution. Help with cleanup as needed.

Come join The Church of Jesus Christ for a once-in-a-lifetime community service event!

As part of the America250 celebration, a JustServe/America250 truck will deliver up to 40,000 pounds of donated food to Kittitas County. Volunteers will help unload approximately 24 pallets of food, sort items, and prepare them for pickup by local food banks serving families in need.

This is a historic, one-time service event celebrating America's 250th anniversary. Volunteers will help welcome the America250/JustServe food delivery truck and prepare donated food for distribution throughout Central Washington.

Youth, families, community members, and groups are all invited to participate. Youth are encouraged to invite friends from the community to serve alongside them. Families are welcome to participate together.

No experience is necessary. Volunteers should be able to lift food items, work as a team, and enjoy serving alongside others.

What you need:

Wear red, white, and/or blue just for the fun.
Able to lift and carry a case of packaged food 20-40 pounds, or cheer for those that can.
Dress appropriately for a warm fall day; we will be outside on an asphalt parking lot.
Bring and wear Sunscreen
Families are encouraged to serve together.
The first 25 volunteers will receive a JustServe participation prize.
