Fort Walla Walla Museum's Living Historians bring history to life, portraying real people from Walla Walla's past.
The troupe’s goal is to bring museum exhibits to life, telling visitors dramatic stories about the lives of Walla Wallans and the issues of their day, and allowing guests to question the characters about their lives and times.
Meet the legendary Henri Villard “The Comet,” a pioneering railroad financier. Learn of his greatest accomplishment—the building of investments required for the construction of the Northwest, known as The Oregon Railroad and Navigation Company.
After the performance, explore our museum's historic locomotive exhibit about The Blue Mountain, locomotive #4. Bear witness to the magnificent historic locomotive that powered the growth of our region, transporting goods and people across vast distances.
Villard is portrayed by retired Whitman College faculty member Clark Colahan.
