No Kings III—Moscow, Idaho
Moscow, Idaho—On March 28, local Latah County residents will come together with millions of Americans across the country in a nationwide day of nonviolent protest for a third No Kings Day of Action.
Indivisible Moscow has planned a progressive event, part one at Friendship Square from 11-NOON and part two at Ghormley Park starting at 1PM to assemble before marching to the streets.
WHY PROTEST?
Last October 7 million American patriots took to the streets across the nation in the largest one day act of defiance in US history. Since then, Trump has sent masked agents to terrorize our communities, profiled and arrested people without warrants, and killed law abiding citizens. He's gutted public institutions, threatened to overtake elections and rig maps to silence voters. He's waged war in Iran after unauthorized strikes killing people in the Caribbean and kidnapping the President of Venezuela while making billions of dollars off the backs of the American people. His "justice department" is protecting pedophiles engaged in international organized crime. And our costs keep rising.
Trump thinks his rule is absolute. He's absolutely wrong. We won't back down to the chaos, corruption and cruelty--all hallmarks of his regime.
WE THE PEOPLE reject all of it. NO Despots, NO Tyrants, NO KINGS!
Indivisible Moscow is excited to join with other groups organizing No Kings peaceful protests across the country.
All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.
