Wenatchee Apollo Club "Brand New Day" Spring Concert on May 16

Wenatchee Apollo Club "Brand New Day" Spring Concert on May 16

The Wenatchee Apollo Club, one of the Pacific Northwest’s longest-running male choruses, invites the community to experience an evening of harmony and hope at their upcoming spring performance, "It’s a Brand New Day."

Under the direction of Tim Scheer, the Apollo Club has curated a program that blends contemporary discoveries with timeless classics. Attendees will be treated to a diverse repertoire featuring modern pieces such as Footprints, Will There Really Be a Morning, and, for you Star Wars fans and beyond, a unique choral arrangement of the theme from The Book of Boba Fett. The program also includes beloved favorites like Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Wellerman, Swing Down Chariot, and I’ll Fly Away.

“This performance is about more than just music; it’s about the community coming together to celebrate a fresh start,” said Thom Kokenge, Board Member of the Apollo Club. “We’ve selected a program that offers something for everyone—from sea shanties and spirituals to modern cinematic scores.”

Proceeds from the concert support the club’s ongoing operations and its commitment to scholarships for local students majoring or minoring in music.
