Kick start your bluegrass summer with the Annual Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival (WRBF), June 19th, 20th and 21st, featuring superstar bluegrass bands that will put the kick in your bluegrass start. The extraordinary line up goes like this….
* Appalachian Road Show, “Appalachian Road Show invites us to come and sit a spell on its porch as the band shares its dynamic musicianship through songs and stories emanating from the mountains and hollers of North Carolina and Virginia, to the coal mines of West Virginia and Kentucky.”
* Southern Legacy, a Nashville-based bluegrass band built on more than 200 years of combined experience, shared history, and a genuine love for making music together. Southern Legacy captivates audiences of all ages with tight harmonies and hard-driving instrumentals.
* Rick Faris Band, delivers music that is soulful, precise, and unforgettable. This high‐energy, internationally touring bluegrass powerhouse brings superb musicianship and a youthful snap from the standout musicians and pickers bringing energy and prowess beyond their years.
* Vickie Vaughn, a Western Kentucky native and lifelong bluegrass musician, Vickie Vaughn is a founding member of High Fidelity and a former member of the GRAMMY-nominated all-woman string band Della Mae. She brings deep roots, raw emotional honesty, and extraordinary skill to every performance.
* Westbound Sky, of the Pacific Northwest — blends bluegrass, folk, and acoustic roots music into something warm, driving, and unmistakably their own. The band delivers honest songs and high-energy picking that gets crowds moving and singing along.
Go ahead, kick start your June, with bluegrass delivered direct to you from the Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival! Main Stage Shows begin at 4:00pm Friday and Saturday.
For those of you not quite ready for the high speed jam sessions heard all over the grounds, our Slow Jam is the place to practice your chops and learn how to maneuver a jam session and maximize your enjoyment picking with other folks and meeting new bluegrass friends!
To round out the festival experience, we have a team of young performers lead by Jake Monroe, signed on to instruct our youth instrument workshops, Taylor’s Camp. Taylor’s Camp is designed to perpetuate the tradition of passing our bluegrass heritage to the next generation. For our Adult Instrument Workshops, learn some new tricks and tips to amuse and amaze even you, from the top notch musicians of our headliner bands!
Wake up Sunday with the Sunday Morning Gospel Show featuring Appalachian Road Show, Rick Faris Band and Westbound Sky.
We will have food and merchandise vendors available, for when you need some nourishment to keep going or a souvenir to take home with you as a reminder of all the fun and enjoyment.

The Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival (WRBF) located at the Chelan County Expo Center, 5700 Wescott Ave, Cashmere, WA, is put on by the good folks of the Cashmere Community Concerts.
