PULLMAN, WASH - Restaurants, bars and fitness centers are opening up again in Pullman, however some students are opting for a more distanced option. Golf courses are seeing an uptick in players as health-conscious students opt for a safer way to exercise.
Outdoor activities have proven to be better at combatting the spread of the virus than indoor. More bars and restaurants are seating customers outside but due to faulty cleaning procedures and a lack of distancing many still don’t feel safe eating around other college students.
Golf has provided a solution to students with that problem and as a result, it has been easier to find a gym time than a tee time.
