Listen to Hour 2 of the program
By Sueann Ramella, Phineas Pope and Rachel Sun

In this hour, we look at the future of aging—and why we need to act now. As America’s population grows older, many communities may not be ready to meet the needs of seniors. What can individuals and local organizations do to prepare?

We speak with Mark Havens, executive director of Interlink in Lewiston, a nonprofit helping seniors and people with disabilities stay independent and in their homes. From transportation to home safety upgrades, Interlink’s work—and its recent research into the Lewiston-Clarkston area—offers insight into what the rest of the country may soon face.
