When she was young, Lewiston resident Colleen Mahoney lived near the Minidoka Japanese Internment camp. That experience, plus witnessing housing discrimination in Utah, shaped her politics and community advocacy. She was interviewed by her daughter, Nancy, for StoryCorps Northwest, recorded virtually.
