A 32-year-old military veteran, Travis Decker, is wanted for allegedly killing his three young daughters outside of Wenatchee in central Washington last month. Since their deaths, people close to him have raised questions about whether he had adequate mental health care for his diagnosed borderline personality disorder, and for what some speculate could also have been PTSD.

Search teams continue to look for Decker using resources including K9s, volunteers and drones. Crews are looking for patterns over land and water.

At a town hall in East Wenatchee, a brown dog named Ruffles Lackey made the rounds, inviting attendees to rub her belly. Ruffles, an animal-assisted crisis response dog, was there to comfort community members coping with stress and grief.

Cash donations were raised by local businesses in the Wenatchee Valley to help support the mother of the three Decker girls.

U.S. Reps. Dan Newhouse and Kim Schrier and other members of the Washington Congressional Delegation held a moment of silence this week on the House floor for the deaths of the three Decker sisters.

Authorities are continuing the search for Travis Decker. His three daughters were found dead Monday near a campsite near Leavenworth following a multi-day search for the girls.
