The 2023 draft for Major League Baseball at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, held during the All-Star Game Weekend. The stadium where the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC and Seattle Reign FC all play is now staffed by a majority union workforce.That wasn’t the case three years ago, when only 17% of Lumen Field staff were unionized.But now, ahead of the city and stadium hosting six matches of the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, many workers have organized. About 80% of the workforce at Lumen now belong to one of a dozen unions representing workers at the stadium.
