Celebrate the Yakima Diocese's 75th Anniversary with an evening of beautiful music performed by the Glass House String Quartet and pianist Michael Kim. The Glass House String Quartet — violinists Allion Salvador and Vanessa Moss, violist Gerald Liu, and cellist Lauren McShane — are four longtime friends and collaborators with a decade of music-making across the Pacific Northwest. The first half of the program features the quartet performing beloved classics including Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Pachelbel's Canon in D, and Haydn's String Quartet Op. 64 No. 5. After intermission, pianist Michael Kim joins the ensemble for a moving selection of sacred and inspirational pieces, including Amazing Grace, Nearer, My God, to Thee, and new works by contemporary composers.
