We are excited to present our season finale! Join us for a choral concert featuring We Are Phoenix by Tim Takach and Sacred Place by Alex Berko, accompanied by strings and piano.
Concerts will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1609 W 10th Ave in Kennewick on Friday, May 22 from 7:30-9 pm and Saturday, May 23 from 4-5:30 pm.
Our Behind the Music talk will begin 30 minutes before the concert. Concessions by Serene Baker will be available for purchase before the concert and during intermission.
Cascadel is a new Indie Folk Rock project based out of Missoula Montana. Formerly playing together as The Dead & Down, this project charts a new course as they blend elements of folk, rock, and Americana with modern, melody-driven sensibilities. With Lenka Swenson on bass, David Bethke on Drums, Matt Angelo on Keys and frontman Taylor Burlage on Guitar, their sound is characterized by heartfelt lyrics, lush harmonies, and psychedelic undertones.

Join the CWU Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, June 7 at 4:00 PM for an Alumni Celebration Concert featuring over 80 alumni of the CWU Symphony Orchestra program. The event celebrates 20 years for Dr. Nikolas Caoile as Director of Orchestras and 35 years as string faculty for Prof. Carrie Rehkopf and Prof. John Michel. The program includes selections from Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 3 and features Dr. Melissa Schiel (mezzo-soprano).
