We will guide you through the varieties of lavender on our farm and teach you how to snip like a pro. Each ticket includes a hands-on experience: cutting your own lavender bundle and learning to de-bud dried lavender. We encourage you to stay awhile, bring a picnic, snap photos in the field and Walk through the native forest learning as you go with our written guide. Enjoy a refreshing lavender lemonade on the porch while exploring the charming Farm Stand for unique, hand-made lavender products. We also offer wreath making, bath salt making, charcuterie boards and farm to table dinners. The Sequim City Band is proud to host the Olympic Peninsula Brass & Winds Festival on July 24–25, bringing community musicians from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond to Sequim for a weekend of music, education, and collaboration. The festival is part of the Association of Concert Bands Regional Connections event, which includes clinics, workshops, and networking opportunities for musicians and leaders of community bands from throughout the region.A major part of the weekend is a series of FREE concerts open to the public, and we invite everyone to attend!The weekend kicks off Friday, July 24, at 7:00 PM in the Blyn/Bay Room at 7 Cedars Resort, 270756 US Highway 101, Sequim, WA 98382, with performances by the Sequim City Band Saxologists at 7pm and the Port Townsend Summer Band at 7:30pm.
Polly O'Keary & the Rhythm Method bring a modern take on the blues, blending influences from zydeco, country, funk, jazz, rockabilly, surf, and rock & roll. Led by award-winning bassist and vocalist Polly O'Keary, the trio features acclaimed drummer Tommy Cook and veteran guitarist David Miller, whose dynamic musicianship and decades of experience create an electrifying live show.
Since forming in 2014, the band has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada, earning a reputation for powerful performances that honor blues traditions while pushing the genre forward.

Working people across the country and in Thurston, Lewis, and Mason Counties are facing escalating attacks on their livelihoods and their dignity. In response to this assault, the Thurston Lewis Mason Central Labor Council is partnering with the Washington Labor Education and Research Center (WA LERC) to present The South Sound Labor School education program at Evergreen State College on January 31, 2026.
The South Sound Labor School will offer “union curious” workers, rank-and-file union members, union leadership and staff, and members of community organizations the education they need to make our communities stronger and more effective.
