Chris Baron is a model singer-songwriter from all over the Pacific Northwest. He tours the west coast solo or with his Secrets ensemble. The music is highly stylized and draws you in, like big-band Cat Stevens meets the directness of the Avett Brothers. It is a funky folk, all-original and totally unique, and it is beloved from festival stages to living room couches. On this special occasion in August 2026 he is joined by Starchild on cello, plus singer-songwriter Eric Schaffer of Tucson AZ…the 2022 winner of Tumbleweed’s Jane Titland Memorial Songwriting Competition.

Childhood's End Gallery presents Form a Line, a group exhibition of new work by four distinct Pacific Northwest artists. Finding common ground in bold representation of the natural world, Kathy Anderson, Colleen Cotey, Sara Gettys, and Julia Janeway each bring a practiced sensitivity to their chosen mediums. Through processes that remove material or add it, these four artists present new works rooted in an intimate knowledge of place and material.
