Vaccine Rate Is 92% For WA State Employees

Ninety two percent of Washington state employees are vaccinated against COVID-19. That’s according to the latest numbers released late Tuesday afternoon. The numbers also show that nearly two-thousand employees have lost their jobs – or about three percent of the workforce. Another three percent have received an accommodation that will allow them to keep working while unvaccinated. In addition nearly three-thousand employees are still in the process of getting fully vaccinated, or waiting to find out if they’re going to be accommodated or in the process of retiring. The new numbers were released one day after the October 18th deadline to get vaccinated.
