An Evening of American Composers with North Cascades Community Orchestra (NCCO)

Our largest community orchestra (over 45 musicians of all ages and talent) presents a FREE concert of American composers, including Amy Beach (Gaelic Symphony Mvt 1), Duke Ellington, Samuel Barber, and more, at BELLINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL, 2020 Cornwall Ave., Bellingham, on Wednesday evening, December 13. Nick Strobel, former lead cellist of the Bellingham Symphony and founder of NCCO returns as conductor.
Amy Beach is the first American woman to have a symphony produced in the United States, and is a composer of a multitude of songs and piano compositions as well. Donations welcome, and children are invited to this free evening of classics.
