Camp Amanda

Camp Amanda is a special weekend experience for children ages 7-14 who have experienced a significant loss. The program helps children begin to talk about their feelings related to the death of someone special and teaches them coping skills for dealing with those feelings.
Camp Amanda leaders include professional bereavement counselors and specially trained volunteers.
Based out of Walla Walla Community Hospice, Camp Amanda is always held on the last full weekend of July. This year’s camp is July 28-30, 2023, approximately 11 miles east of Walla Walla in the Blue Mountains (transportation to and from camp is not provided).

The deadline for registration is June 16, 2022, or until available spots are filled.
