Concerts à la Carte Season Concludes with Grand Finale!

$20Organist Dr. Kirsten Santos Rutschman takes us on a whirlwind tour of Northern Europe in conclusion of our Concerts à la Carte season!
A Bellingham native, Dr. Kirsten Santos Rutschman currently plays the four-manual, 5,206-pipe Austin Organ at Wayne Presbyterian Church, PA, where she is the full-time Interim Director of Music. Kirsten holds degrees from Duke University, Linköping University (Sweden), and Stanford University. She has played historic pipe organs in Italy, Germany and Sweden. She also completed Fulbright-supported musicology research in Sweden.
Kirsten’s Northern European musical travelogue will make several stops to visit composers in Vienna (Brahms), Germany (Bach), England and Wales (Vaughan Williams), Norway (Grieg) and Sweden (music for the King at the Royal Palace on the “King of Instruments ” — the organ!
