Escaped Ornamentals: Washington Native Plant Society

Join the Columbia Basin Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society for an evening in the weeds with Sue Bird, project coordinator and outreach specialist for Yakima County Noxious Weed Control. Learn about a few ob-noxious plants that have escaped the confines of cultivation to become nuisances in our native habitats. We’ll also hear about what’s being done to prevent future outbreaks of weedy species and resources available for us to employ as stewards in our spaces.
