Fair Trade Craft Sale to Benefit Local Refugees

Interfaith Connection of the Palouse, a group of fifteen local faith congregations, is sponsoring a Fair Trade craft sale on December 2, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on December 3, 2023 from noon to 3 p.m. at Simpson United Methodist Church in Pullman (325 NE Maple St.). Fair Trade pays living wages to artisans around the world and promotes the empowerment of women. The crafts from Just Trade, owned by Nancy Nydegger will include baskets, jewelry, mittens and other enchanting holiday gifts. Half of the profit from the sale will assist local refugee/migrant populations from Ukraine, Haiti, Colombia, Afghanistan and many other locations in their English language studies.
