How “I Have A Dream” Almost Didn’t Happen!

Join us on Thursday, February 8th at 7 pm in the RPL Gallery to hear storyteller Arthur Broady tell the fascinating tale of how the most famous lines by Dr. Martin Luther King almost weren’t included in his iconic speech!

Many of us know the contents and substance of the speech. However, most of us are unaware that the “I Have A Dream” lines in this speech were not planned and therefore “almost did not happen.” The fascinating account of the details that resulted in those most famous lines added to his speech are presented in story telling fashion and will provide a deeper appreciation and admiration for both Dr. King and his speech “I Have a Dream.”
