Prosser’s Princess Theatre will host Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis for one performance on Friday, October 13.
Tickets are available online at www.ProsserPrincess.com and range in price from $50 to $500 for a table for two in front of the stage. Theatre doors will open at 7 PM, with the show beginning at 7:30. The theatre’s adjoining bar in The Green Room will open at 6:30 PM.
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra comprises 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. It has been the Jazz at Lincoln Center resident orchestra since 1988. Currently, the orchestra tours the world for a third of the year.
Under Music Director Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra performs a vast repertoire, from rare historic compositions to Jazz at Lincoln Center-commissioned works. The program for the October 13 concert at the Princess will be announced from the stage.
