Kraig Scott – Faculty Organ Recital: Bells and Lullabies

Bells and Lullabies – a pipe organ recital featuring Sonata No.1 by renowned Canadian composer Rachel Laurin. This sonata, written in memory of a friend, contains a second movement Lullaby and a final movement Carillon-Toccata. The recital also presents lullabies by Johann Sebastian Bach, Philip Hayes, Louis Vierne and Frank Martin; and Carillon-Toccatas by Louis Vierne, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, and Henri Mulet.

Kraig Scott serves as Professor of Music at Walla Walla University, and Studio Music Instructor at Whitman College. He presents a faculty organ recital each fall.
