Join the Symphony Tacoma String Quintet for an inside look into the amazing string family! Explore the nuts & bolts of high/low, slow/fast and major/minor through popular classical era pieces and fun children’s tunes–you’ll see why the string family is truly unique!

Mini Maestros is designed especially for children ages 2-8 and their families. Each concert highlights a different family of orchestra instruments with curriculum prepared by Early Childhood Learning experts. Educator and emcee Shay Ryan introduces the instruments and musical concepts while Symphony Tacoma musicians demonstrate by playing songs that get kids singing, dancing, clapping their hands–and learning!
