at Seattle Sister Cities’ Inaugural Short Film Festival!
Seattle’s sister cities bring you stories of relations between people with short films from Poland, Kenya, France, New Zealand, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Israel, and Norway. Works are by students, amateurs, and professionals with unique voices exploring our connections to the world and to each other. The themes deal with a range of topics relating to the human condition, including loss, the passage of time, reflections on life, survival, art, and joy.
Special guest appearance by award-winning filmmaker John McDonald https://mcdonaldproductions.com/ who will discuss his current work in progress that was filmed in France.
Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks from the sister cities. Wine available for purchase.
Door open at 4:30pm.
Proceeds support the Seattle Sister Cities 501c3 nonprofit
