Celebrate the holiday season with Tacoma Concert Band’s “Joy to the World” matinee concert on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Pantages Theater.
Conductor and Artistic Director Gerard Morris has masterfully curated a diverse and joyous program of holiday favorites from around the globe in celebration of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. We also welcome back to the stage soprano Elizabeth Galafa-Ylaya who will perform such favorites as “O Holy Night” and songs from the motion picture “Polar Express.”
In collaboration with the City of Tacoma’s Annual Tree Lighting event, the concert will feature a special appearance by Santa Claus! We hope you can join us for this joyous celebration of community, family, and friendship!
