The upcoming public meeting will focus on a vital topic in today’s information age—News & Media Literacy: Informed or Influenced?

This session will explore the intricacies of news consumption, media bias, and the role of digital platforms in shaping our opinions. How can we investigate sources to determine whether their content is trustworthy and factual? Participants will learn how to analyze information sources, distinguish between fact and opinion, and understand the impact of media on democracy and election outcomes.
