The Spokane Community Observance of the Holocaust

FreeThis year’s theme is “The Dangers of Indifference: the US and the Holocaust.” The
keynote address is by Raymond Sun, Associate Professor of History at WSU in Pullman.
There will also be a display of art submitted to the Jessica Stein Memorial Art Contest,
with awarding of winners.
Music will be performed by the Lewis and Clark High School Chamber Orchestra, and
also by Temple Beth Shalom Choir. The Children’s Candle Processional will memorialize
children lost in the Holocaust, and a candle lighting ceremony will honor generations of
victims and survivors, and those whose deeds inspire us to action.
