The Skagit County Historical Museum will be kicking off its spring Topics @ The School series, “Valley Girls: Legendary Women and their Adventures in Skagit County,” with Dr. Jesse G Kennedy III this Sunday, March 24 from 2-4pm at the Skagit City School. Join us and learn about Lucinda Davis, a small but mighty frontierswoman who raised her family while running a roadhouse in the late 1800’s. The Skagit City School is located at 17508 Moore Rd. in Mount Vernon. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free for members. Hope to see you on Sunday!
