Dangerous Women: Unsettled

Discover our foremothers when regional actors, musicians, artists, writers and dancers bring women’s history to life on stage in the acclaimed, original production, “Unsettled.” 2024 marks the final year of this groundbreaking show that explores the settling of Central WA through the eyes of multiple cultures including the perspective of Indigenous women. By blazing a trail between past and present Unsettled reveals the inherent contradictions when several cultures inhabit the same landscape over time. The show is narrated in spoken word by The Moon, a universal feminine icon and an ancient to Indigenous people.
Dangerous Women is a collaborative of visionary female artists based in North Central WA. The group researches, creates and presents innovative theatrical productions. Directed and produced by Rhona Baron, this year’s cast includes Becky Fishburn, Hannah Rice, Mandi Wickline, Bernadine Phillips, Mary Big Bull Lewis, Sally Singer, Sally Knipfer, Marile Kunkel, Terri Butler, Holly Blue, Karen Francis McWhite, Norma Ramirez, Rhona Baron, Star Marson, Cascadia Weaver Marson, Stacy Coronado, Angie Ploch, Mirella Cuevas, Karen Arteaga, Abigail Esquivel, Talia Quintasket, Delanie Yallup and introduces Daina Toevs as The Moon.
