The Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest invites the local community to learn about the extraordinary journey of the lives of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom that now live right here in Cle Elum. Hosted at the UKC Senior Center, this enlightening presentation promises to share an insight into the world of chimpanzees and the daily work of their caregivers, scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 from 4-5 pm.

You will have the unique opportunity to gain insights into the daily lives of these chimpanzees. Through their caregivers’ informative talk, you will develop a deeper appreciation for these remarkable animals and the challenges they have faced.

Led by a team of dedicated caregivers, educated locally at Central Washington University (CWU), who are Primate Behavior Specialists, the sanctuary is committed to providing the highest level of care and enrichment for its residents.
