Preparing for Wildfire

Idaho County has a very high risk of wildfire – higher than 98% of the counties in the US. Come Join us at the Kooskia Community Center to learn about the Fire Mitigation program, and what you can do to protect your family and property during a wildfire. Sandi Paul from Idaho County Fire Mitigation, Jerry Zumalt, the Idaho County Disaster Coordinator, a representative of the USFS and other local agency firefighters will share their knowledge of what you should expect in a fire emergency.
