Tour Bilingüe de Desove de Salmó | Bilingual Salmon Spawning Tour

Los salmones regresan al lugar donde nacieron, para aparearse y desovar antes de morir. En este recorrido en automóvil organizado por Chelan-Douglas Land Trust y Wenatchee River Institute, visitará tres lugares para observar y aprender sobre las últimas etapas de la vida de un salmón. La primera ubicación será el río Wenatchee a lo largo del Riverfront Park en Leavenworth. Luego nos dirigiremos a una segunda ubicación en el río Wenatchee hasta el cañón Tumwater. Nuestro destino final será el río White, un afluente del río Wenatchee.
La educación para este evento será bilingüe en inglés y español. Jen Herdman, de Cascade Fisheries, se unirá a nosotros y compartirá sobre el asombroso mundo de los peces y cómo los peces necesitan nuestra ayuda. El evento comenzará en el Wenatchee River Institute a las 8:30am el 23 de septiembre. Salmon return to the place they were born, to mate and spawn before they die. On this driving tour hosted by the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust and the Wenatchee River Institute, you’ll visit three locations to observe and learn about the last stages of a salmon’s life. The first location will be the Wenatchee River along the Riverfront Park in Leavenworth. We’ll then drive to a second location on the Wenatchee River up Tumwater Canyon. Our final destination will be the White River, a tributary to the Wenatchee River.
Education for this event will be bilingual in English and Spanish. Cascade Fisheries’, Jen Herdman, will join us and share about the amazing world of fish and how fish need our help. The event will begin at the Wenatchee River Institute at 8:30am on September 23rd. Transportation is provided, please consider paying what you can to attend this event and help cover the costs of WRI’s van usage.
